We’ve put together a guide on our Terms and Conditions to cover orders placed with Milton & Manor, whether it’s placed online, over the phone or at an event – these may change from time to time, in which case you’ll be able to find an updated version on our website. We suggest that you take a quick look through then file it in a safe place just in case you have any questions.
Please note that by placing an order with us, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to our Terms and Conditions. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that colour reproduction is as accurate as possible, slight variations may occur as a result of the photographic process. We always advise customers prior to ordering to request fabric samples to check that the colour and design is suitable. When placing an order, we will always ask for the full amount to be paid as confirmation of your order. After making the payment you will receive an order confirmation via email, we can post it out to you if you’d prefer, please check all the details and contact us if you are unsure about any aspect of the order. Please note that we print on natural fabrics which can vary slightly in colour. We therefore cannot guarantee that fabrics ordered from separate batches will match. We advise that fabrics are ordered from a single batch if colour matching is required. Within commercial match tolerance, we reserve the right to refuse refund if we deem the colour to be of an acceptable match. Please be advised we will not refund for colour variation in any circumstance if a swatch has not first been ordered. Please note that fabric quantities quoted are approximate and are based on fabric no less than 137cm wide (pattern repeats and differing fabric widths all have a bearing on how much fabric you will need). All fabrics are carefully examined prior to despatch. Availability of some items and their shades cannot always be guaranteed.
We print Milton & Manor fabrics to order and therefore an allowance of 2-3 weeks is required. If small amounts are required it is possible we may hold some in stock and if this is the case we will endeavour to get them out to you within 7-10 days following receipt of payment.
All Milton & Manor cushions and footstools are handmade to order and therefore an allowance of 3-4 weeks is required.
Milton & Manor fabrics not in stock can take up to 6 weeks for delivery, in extreme situations.
Free postage and packaging for fabric swatches will be for mainland UK only. Postage and packaging charges for fabric, cushions, footstools and accessory orders will be for mainland UK only. All prices quoted are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate.
If your order is being dispatched to a destination outside the European Union (EU) then your sales tax will be zero. If your order is being sent to a member state of the EU then the selling price will include VAT at the current rate. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them. A delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate.

Please note that with Milton & Manor fabrics when washing always dry clean or select a delicate machine wash at 30°C using a mild soap on a low spin cycle and hang to dry. Iron while still slightly damp on low temperature. Do not tumble dry. Do not soak.
Returns and Refunds

Please note that fabric which has been cut to a particular length for a customer cannot be refunded. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you order swatches before making your purchase.
Other purchases can be returned for a refund within 14 days of the day on which the goods were received. Goods should be returned in the good condition in which they arrived.
Delivery charges will not be refunded, unless goods are found to be faulty or damaged. No claim will be entertained once fabric has been cut or used in any way.
Aside from what we’ve already mentioned, there are also a few things we cannot cover that we’ve highlighted here:
Damage resulting from normal wear and tear.
Colour changes and fastness in Milton & Manor fabrics (these will naturally change over time depending on storage conditions, natural light, etc.)
The extent of our liability in the event of any breach of these Terms and Conditions will be limited to the original value of the goods.
We only collect data for the purpose of processing and managing your order and so that we can keep in touch with you by newsletter occasionally. For this we need to keep your name, address, email address, phone number and details of your previous orders. We do not retain your payment details within our systems. These are held externally within Payzone. In trusting us with your personal details you are entitled to rights under the Data Protection Act 1998 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Whilst we take all reasonable efforts to ensure information provided is accurate, in particular the product detail and description, we do not make any representation or warranty (express or implied) and do not accept any responsibility or liability as to, or in relation to, the accuracy or completeness of the information contained on the website or any other written or oral information made available to any interested party or its advisers and any liability in respect of any such information or any inaccuracy on, or omission from, the website is to the fullest extent permitted by law expressly disclaimed and excluded.
We may make changes to the content of the website at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that our website, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. This website and all the materials contained in it are protected by intellectual property rights, including copyright, and either belongs to us or is licensed to us to use. Materials include, but are not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, graphics, documents, on the website, as well as other content such as images, photos and designs. You may not copy, redistribute, republish, modify or otherwise make the materials on this website available to anyone else without the prior written consent of Milton & Manor.
You must not use any part of the content on our Website for commercial purposes without obtaining written permission from Milton & Manor.
All of our fabrics are registered designs with protected copyright. Each design is supported with its own file of date of conception, date presented to our print factory and date of release.
Any unauthorised reproduction or copying of the products or images featured on our website belonging to Milton & Manor may result in legal action.
Protecting Your Data
When you order with us, we ask for information such as your name, email address, contact number, delivery address. All this is necessary to process your request or notify you of acceptance of your order.
Our site uses a SSL (secure socket layer) certificate to protect your information whenever you place an order or access your account information. This software encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us to minimise the risk of this being intercepted before it is received by us. However emails cannot be 100% secure, this is due to the way the internet works. We cannot accept responsibility as it’s out of our control.
All the information we collect via our website or through correspondence with you may be used for the following purposes – dealing with orders, accounts and research. We will never share your data with any third parties for the purpose of direct marketing, advertising or email. We’ll sometimes share data with third parties to help us provide a better service for you. Some examples might be giving your address to a courier so they can deliver your order.
Access to customer account information is limited to those who need access to the performance of their job and we use full login and password controls on our system.

Our cookies do not contain any personal information about you and are used only to determine your browser and user preferences for our site. This helps us to provide you with the best service and to make it easier when you shop. You can, if you prefer, set up your internet browser to not accept cookies. You will still be able to use our site without having cookies enabled.
We recognise that security is a major concern to many of our customers. No credit card information is entered on our site. Once you go to make a payment on our site, you will be redirected to our payment service provider, Payzone, own secure payment form to complete the order and then redirected back to our website. This does mean you have to give your card details every time you place an order with us but this minor inconvenience does ensure that it is totally safe to shop at Milton & Manor.
Our Mailing List and Customer Opt-in
On 25th May 2018, GDPR comes into effect. GDPR stands for the General Data Protection Regulation. It gives you control over how your personal data (that’s everything from your name and email address to your health records and bank details) is used.
For marketing information, the biggest change GDPR makes is that you need to opt-in to receive marketing material, and businesses need to be clear about what that marketing material contains.
All businesses have to prove that you opted in to receive marketing information, which is why we will ask you to agree to receive communications from us.
